Seven Infiltration Wells Built in Residential Areas on Tidung Island

The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, built seven 76-meter-long infiltration wells and drainage units in the residential area of RT 02 RW 04, Tidung Island Sub-district, South Seribu Islands.

This aims to prevent flooding in residential areas

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri said seven infiltration wells were made, each measuring 60x40 centimeters with a depth of 60 centimeters.

"They (wells) are connected to drainage via paralon pipes. This aims to prevent flooding in residential areas," he expressed, Thursday (12/14).

Channel Construction on Pramuka Island Completed

He added the construction involved 12 personnel from Tidung Island Urban Village has been carried out since Monday (12/11).

"The work progress has touched 75 percent and is targeted to be completed in a week," he concluded.

Besides building wells and drainage, personnel also drained channels and drainage tanks in residential areas.
